International Day of Yoga 2019, Friday 21st June

To celebrate International Day of Yoga on Friday 21st June, we will be holding a Free Yoga Nidra Class at 6pm.
International Day of Yoga, or commonly and unofficially referred to as Yoga Day, is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in 2015. An international day for yoga was declared unanimously by the United Nations General Assembly. The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his UN address suggested the date of 21 June, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares a special significance in many parts of the world. We use this day to celebrate and promote the many benefits of yoga.

Yoga Nidra is a practice that involves relaxation with consciousness. Yoga nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the “going-to-sleep” stage. Yoga Nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation, by calming the nervous system.

Summer Morning Yoga Retreats at the Killarney Park Hotel Sunday 23rd June, 28th July and 25th August 9-11:30am

You have the option of beginning your morning from 7am with full use of the 5 star Health & Fitness Centre at the Killarney Park Hotel.
At 9am join Adrian for an invigorating vinyasa flow yoga class. The class will include meditation, breathwork, and the use of doTerra essential oils. Expect to leave feeling energised and more relaxed in your own skin.
After yoga, a delicious healthy brunch will be served in the newly refurbished Garden Bar…

Nave Yoga Summer Hike Saturday 29th June

Join us for a hike up Torc Mounatain on Saturday 29th June.
Meeting at 9am at Torc Waterfall Carpark
This is a chance for all of us yogis to get together, enjoy the outdoors and each other’s company off the mat!

Laughter Yoga Class Saturday 3rd August 11:30am until 12:30pm

Just recently we had a group in our studio for a laughter yoga session! It is always something we have been interested in and they seemed to really be having the craic, so we thought we might give it a try! This is a gift from us to you. It will be a free 60 minute class available only to current members of Navé Yoga (must hold a Visit Pass or Unlimited Membership). Numbers are limited so please book in early!

Introduction to Yoga Course Level 2 begins Monday 17th June

Navé Yoga’s Introduction to Yoga Course Level 2 is designed for people who have some yoga experience or as a follow on for those who have completed our Intro to Yoga 5 Week Course.
We will place more emphasis on alignment in postures and introduce the Vinyasa flowing element of the practice.
