Classes we run

Navé Yoga’s teaching style is a vinyasa flow style of Hatha yoga. With this as the foundation of all of our classes, we teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga and we are also focus on Pregnancy Yoga, Kids Yoga and Mother and Baby yoga. Personal yoga instruction is also available on request.

What do I do before my first class?

1. Chose the class that you would like to attend from the list below and book in online from the schedule page for the date that you wish to attend.


2. Arrive 10-15 minutes before start time and notify the teacher of any injuries, medical conditions or other information that you think we should know.


3. Bring a mat if you have one, if not you can rent a studio mat for €1 (for hygiene reasons it is recommended to bring your own mat). We also sell mats for €25. Bring a small towel if using a studio mat and a bottle of water.


4. Try not to eat anything heavy up to two hours before class starts.


5. Come to the studio, check in at the desk and enjoy your class!

Hatha Yoga

This class is designed for people who want a more gentle practice, such as a beginner. This class is also very beneficial to those who suffer from joint and muscle pain.  This class is a very gentle class which focuses on the basics and fundamentals of yoga. Experienced practitioners can also benefit from this slower, back to basics class where extra focus can be placed on alignment. This is also a good place for beginners to start.

Vinyasa 1

This class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga. The class focuses on correct alignment in postures and breathing techniques and introduces you to the vinyasa flow. This class focuses on the basics which is ideal for beginners or experienced practitioners who want to work on alignment and basics.

Vinyasa 2

This is a flowing class which incorporates standing poses, balances, forward bends, backbends, twists, hip openers and inversions. This class focuses on matching movement with breathing and on correct alignment in postures.

Vinyasa 3

This class focuses on upper body and core strength through a dynamic combination of strength, balance and flow. The body is kept moving and generating heat throughout the class. This class includes standing poses, inversions, backbends and arm balances. Expect to work up a good sweat in this a class!

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is an excellent way to balance a more dynamic ‘yang’ yoga practice. Yin Yoga is a deep practice with long holds in postures that releases tension and nourishes the body’s connective tissue. Yin Yoga balances the body’s energy channels and helps maintain healthy joints. Circulation is increased and flexibility enhanced. An excellent compliment to other yoga practices and exercise. Suitable for beginners.

Private Yoga Classes

There are times when it is appropriate to consider private yoga classes, such as if you are just starting to practice, are recovering from injury, surgery or illness, are seeking to move past plateaus in your practice or are feeling “stuck”, wish to work more deeply on a particular area of your practice, or if you are uncomfortable in a class setting and wish to practice privately.

Our Private Yoga Sessions involve a phone call consultation prior to the session, a 60 minute private session tailored specifically to suit your needs and a follow up email to help you to develop your practice at home if desired. In the session you will receive hands on adjustments and specific guidance to enable you to further your yoga practice.

The investment for this is €50 and we have availability every day, including, morning, daytime, evenings and weekends. We also offer group sessions, which may be you and a friend or partner or you and a group of others (family, work colleagues, sporting friends, etc). Please contact us for private group pricing. Private yoga takes place at the studio, or we can come to you if needed.

Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy yoga is a wonderful way to connect with your baby through breath and meditation while also strengthening the legs, upper body and hips through postures designed for pregnancy and to enhance the birthing experience. The class focuses on hip openers, leg strengthening exercises and pelvis stabilising exercises. We recommend starting this class after 12 weeks of pregnancy. Pricing for Pregnancy Yoga is €14 drop in or €60 for 5 visits.

Pregnancy yoga runs every Tuesday at 7:30pm until 8:45pm.

Kids Yoga

Our current children’s yoga classes run every Monday. The 4-8 year old class is on at 3:30pm and 9-13 year olds at 4:30pm. The cost is €80 for the 10 week term. Our new term begins on Monday 10th September 2018. Bookings and enquiries to 0872601624.

Kids Yoga improves flexibility and fine motor skills, boosts self- esteem and confidence, teaches children to cope with stress and worry from an early age, is completely non competitive and lots and lots of fun!!

Mother and Baby Yoga Course

Fridays 10am until 11:30am

Connect with your baby through yoga and breathwork.
Rebuild strength and tone back in your body after childbirth in a safe and effective way – find strength from the inside out.
Strengthen your pelvic floor, abdomen, legs and back.
Release tension in your neck, shoulders and arms.

Learn how to develop a home yoga practice that you and your baby can do together at any time. Yoga for your baby is a special sequence of movements that assist in your baby’s postural development from lying to walking. Baby yoga can assist digestion and circulation, and can help with wind and colic. Baby yoga can help to relax your baby and encourage better sleep.

This class will allow you to connect with other mums in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Each session is 90 minutes long and will include morning tea (tea / coffee and a healthy snack). Each week will focus on different posture groups, so that you are confident to develop a home practice for you and your baby.

The course is for babies from 6 weeks old up until the crawling stage.

The investment for the 5 week course is €89.
