Navé Yoga holds regular workshops and retreats in Killarney and beyond, to enable you to deepen and further your yoga practice.

Yoga has been proven to assist with ailments such as obesity, diabetes, depression, and has also been proven to lower blood pressure and boost good cholesterol, release muscle and joint tension and stiffness. Yoga also helps you to get a better nights sleep!

Navé Yoga is run by Elaine and Adrian O’Donoghue with much input from their two young boys. Elaine began practising yoga in 2010 and quickly fell in love with the practice. In 2013 she completed her yoga teacher training (RYT200) in Brisbane. Elaine began teaching in September 2013 in various studios across Brisbane and also started her own small teaching business. Having realised the benefits of pregnancy yoga during her own pregnancy, Elaine then completed a certificate in prenatal and postnatal yoga and began teaching in these areas. Elaine completed her Children’s Yoga Teacher Training in the Elbow Room in Dublin in 2014 and in 2016 she completed her 500 hour TTC with the Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre in Cork under the guidance of Yogacharya Lalit Kumar.

Elaine continues her own daily yoga practice and is grateful for the benefits this brings to her life. She brings her knowledge and experience in the different areas of yoga to the people of Killarney and shares a passion that has invaluable benefits for the health and wellbeing of people of all ages.

    Adrian O'Donoghue

Registered Yoga Teacher, RTY 200 (2015) Certified Yin Yoga Teacher (2017)

Adrian began his yoga journey in Brisbane in 2012. Once he took his first yoga class he was hooked right away as he felt the amazing benefits for both his mind and body. Having a strong passion for sport, he was amazed to see how yoga could benefit and complement sports people and couldn’t believe he hadn’t found yoga before! His passion for yoga turned into a desire to teach yoga and he completed his teacher training in Cork in early 2015 and began teaching at Navé Yoga straight away. In November 2017, Adrian completed his Yin Yoga teacher training under the guidance of Josh Summers.

Adrian teaches Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and he also loves to teach strong flowing vinyasa classes. Adrian places a strong focus on alignment and the use of props where needed and firmly believes that yoga is for everyone.

      Rieleen Bn Uí Dhuinnín

      Certified Yoga Teacher RYT200

Rieleen started practicing yoga at the age of 15. Initially practicing yoga as part of sports injury recovery, she soon started developing a greater interest in her practice and yoga became a part of her daily life.
She went on to successfully complete her yoga teacher training in 2014/2015 with Yoga Diploma in Cork and has been teaching since. She is currently teaching adult and kids yoga in Macroom, and covers classes regularly at Navé Yoga.

        Deirdre McKenna

Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (2015)

When Deirdre discovered yoga she was immediately drawn to the way it challenged her and being involved in competitive sports from an early age, initially enjoyed the intense physical side of it most. However as she committed to a daily practice she began to notice not only the physical benefits, but the break she would get from her busy mind when she stood on her mat- becoming more grounded, calmer and content the more she practiced. To deepen her own practice and to share the positive effects of yoga with others, Deirdre decided to train as a Yoga teacher with Yogacharya Lalit Kumar, Himalaya Yoga Valley and graduated from 200hr teacher training in 2015. She considers herself a student of yoga first and feels privileged to share the experience of yoga with everyone who comes to her classes, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment where people of all levels can learn and practice together. With a B.ed in Sports Studies and Physical Education and a Masters in Primary Education Deirdre is a teacher at heart. She is passionate about teaching and sharing yoga with everyone, including children and teens. She completed further training with Rainbow Kids yoga in 2016. Deirdre is constantly inspired by the imagination and energy of children and sees how yoga can serve to promote positive mental and physical health as well as building resilience. She loves to bring the powerful and fun practice of yoga to the littlest of yogis so that they are empowered to have healthy, happy and balanced lives.

          Kara Fox

Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance RYT 200

Kara was gifted an introduction to the practice of yoga at an early age by her mentor in Nashville, Tennessee and has treasured this present ever since. The only constant for half her life, yoga has grounded Kara through many moves, an on-again, off-again love affair with home, (New York) long stints living abroad in South and Southeast Asia, and the dedication to her work as a photojournalist. Kara’s daily yoga practice brings her strength and heart and she is happy when she gets to share this with others.
Kara has been a yogi for 17 years – teaching for 10. Kara is trained in both the Hatha and Iyengar tradition. In both personal practice and as a teacher, her classes seek to find balance between respecting the ancient wisdom of the yoga sutras while acknowledging that we live in a very changed world now. Yoga is all about balance. She respects this and strives to infuse this into each session.
